CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, on Monday, virtually inaugurated new buildings for hospitals in various locations across the State constructed at a total cost of Rs. 173 crore, besides laying foundation for the new buildings for hospitals to be constructed in different locations at a total cost of Rs. 20 crore.
Stalin also virtually inaugurated 20 hostels, 37 school buildings and housing units under the Tholkudi programme, 16 village knowledge centres and nine multi-purpose centres constructed by the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department at a total cost of ₹209 crore. He also flagged off new vehicles for the department.
