CHENNAI: R. Sudhakar has been posted as Deputy Director-General of Narcotics Control Bureau, Southern Region in Chennai.
Sudhakar, a 2003-batch IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, is presently the central anti-drug agency’s DDG, North East Region, stationed at Guwahati.
NCB with its headquarters at New Delhi has seven Regional Deputy Director General offices — Northern Region (Delhi), South Western Region (Mumbai), Eastern Region (Kolkata), North Western Region (Amritsar), Western Region (Ahmedabad), Southern Region (Chennai), North Eastern Region (Guwahati), and 30 zonal units.
