NEW DELHI: National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has launched ‘Clean Toilet Picture Challenge’ under ‘Special Campaign 5.0’. Under this campaign, if toilets near toll plazas on any National Highway are found dirty, customers can report it on NHAI’s website.
NHAI will investigate the complaint and if found valid, Rs 1000 will be sent to the FASTag of the complainant’s car. This campaign will run until October 31, 2025.
National Highway users can now report dirty toilets and earn a reward under a new NHAI initiative. Users need to download the latest update of the ‘RajmargYatra’ app and upload geo-tagged photos of unclean toilets.
Along with the photo, users must provide their name, location, vehicle registration number, and mobile number. Complainants will receive Rs 1,000 as FASTag recharge to their registered FASTag account. The reward is non-transferable and cannot be claimed in cash.
This campaign will only apply to toilets built and operated at toll plazas under NHAI’s jurisdiction. Petrol pumps, dhabas or other NHAI services have been kept out of this.
Regardless of the number of complaints received at the toilet of each National Highway toll plaza, it will be eligible for reward only once per day.
