CHENNAI: State-run Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on Friday assured the consumers that cooking gas supplies will remain normal and unhindered. They said that sufficient stocks of LPG were available as of now, at all bottling plants as well as with Indane, Bharat Gas, and HP Gas distributors to meet the ongoing festive season demand.
This assurance was given following a strike by Southern Region Bulk LPG Transport Owners Association.
All necessary contingency measures have been put in place to ensure that the supply of LPG cylinders to households and commercial establishments continues smoothly. The three companies, the release said, were closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with all stakeholders to maintain uninterrupted operations.
